Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Kings Beach

Stella's on highway 267 feels like a hidden gem in Truckee. From the moment you walk through their doors, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. One of the things I like best about it is the fact that it is not noisy and impossible to have a conversation like many of the restaurants in Truckee are. We've had family birthday dinners here twice, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and the staff are all very friendly.. I highly recommend Stella's.

Fantastic food, as always. The menu varies little but the quality is always extremely high and guarantees a wonderful dining experience. We ate on the early side and it was very loud due the apres-ski crowd in the adjoining bar area. That can be enjoyable too, unless you want to actually have a conversation over dinner.

I went with my son and we had an amazing experience. I can highly recommend this. It’s the only place where you can experience Fine Dining Cuisine around Lake Tahoe.

I love supporting a local business and we will continue to come here. The quality of the food was not good and hasn’t been awesome the last few times we have gone in. Our French onion soup had no bread/crouton and just a slap of lightly melted cheese on it. Why? If they were out of something they could have said so. The ambiance and space is great. Not sure what has changed but this isn’t the same restaurant it was a couple years ago.

We loved our dinner celebration of my son’s engagement. Cozy, warm, and delicious and the staff helped make our time very festive. Even a shot ski😁
