Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! All the staff is wonderful. Francisco has been our waiter many times. He is wonderful & very attentive. The owner Clyde, does not cut corners. Most of hid food is made by scratch & is premium as well as his accommodations. I would highly recommend this Restaurant. If there was 10 stars to give, I would give 20 stars.

We have been here several times. My husband has Celiac and it's so wonderful to come to a restaurant that has no gluten so he doesn't have to worry about any cross-contamination. The food is spectacular and you would never know the bread is gluten free. The service is very attentive and the price is reasonable for type of food and service you receive. The restaurant is very small but you feel like if you are in a cozy dining room and in spite of the close proximity to other diners, it still feels very intimate.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend’s birthday. Food was good, ambience great, cocktails were excellent and the service was par excellence. Alex was courteous, professional and made our celebration special. Highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come back again.
