Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Norwich

A lovely afternoon tea spent with my sister to celebrate our birthdays. Staff went above and beyond and even bought out a small cake with a lit candle, this was a lovely touch and was very sweet of them. The food was all so delicious as well as the tea. Pleased we decided on coming here and will definitely return on other occasions. Thankyou to all the staff who looked after us!

We had a good evening at The Belgian Monk , Greeted by friendly staff & our main courses of meatballs & moules mariniere were very tasty . We were assisted by our server on beer choices & both were delicious. Although the restaurant was quite busy you could still have a conversation without shouting . On leaving another member of staff asked if we’d had a pleasant evening which we thought added a more personal touch .

As per a few of the other reviews, some items not available. Beef tagine, vegetable cous cous and chicken schnitzel not on offer which is a shame when it’s a relatively small menu (I like smaller menus but you have to have it all available!). Service was at times slow but great when we got it. Seafood pasta was so good, lamb tagine lacked vegetables but meat was incredibly tender.

As always, great food and great service. A busy lunchtime but plenty of staff, courteous and polite, prompt service.
