Best Gluten Free Restaurants in San Marcos

Tour- 5 stars, fantastic! The tour was amazing- educational and fun with some great beer samples. Can't beat the ambiance in the restaurant, but service was pretty slow, but who's in a hurry when you're enjoying great beer?! Whoever created the Stone Fireside Magic brown ale deserves a big fat raise and an award for the best ale I've ever tasted in my life. Wow wow wow!!!

A bit disappointed. Ordered lasagna, personal fave. It arrived barely hot enough. A[peared that it wasn't cooked to order. because the sauce on top was hotter than the lasagna underneath. So I guess it is precooked in large pans ahead of time, then cut and covered in more sauce. I could have waited till the server came back around to check and sent it back, but decided not to wait and just started eating. It was competent, not memorable.

Highly recommend! Our 1st time, and it was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary! I am gluten free and our waitress was very knowledgable with the menu. We started out with a caprese salad. I had the short rib pasta dish w/ GF pasta. It was delicious! My husband had the lasagna which he said was amazing and melted in his mouth! Our waitress went above and beyond to make our night special and even gave us a complimentary, yummy panacotta. We will definitely be back!

We like the ambiance. The food is inconsistent though. Last time we were there, the Scarface pasta was much more creamy and had more mushrooms. this time not so much and the dish wasn't as warm as it could have been. Our waitress was nice but she forgot a few things and then overcharged us. We caught it and it was all good. I spoke to the manager ahead of time because we were perhaps planning a large party in the near future for wedding. She was expecting us but she never came over to the table to speak with us. Anyway, we'll probably be back

we celebrated my dads birthday brunch and it was our first time here. everyone was super awesome from the moment we walked in. we were so shocked that the portions were HUGE. i highly recommend sharing. (order the crispy broccoli- it’s so delicious!) the drinks were super yummy too!! my dad loved the breakfast shot and my mom loved ray ray’s coffee cocktail! overall a great experience and can’t wait to go back soon.
