Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Lake Sarasota

We dined at Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurant for my birthday celebration. Our Waitress, Paula, was very helpful, since it was our first time at Coopers Hawk, with choosing our wine, dinner and surprised us with a delightful birthday truffle dessert. We had the steak medallion lunch and it was tender, cooked to our request and delicious. We will be back to Coopers Hawk.

This was the fifth time we had dinner at Ophelia’s and it was awesome as always. The staff is so friendly and helpful, everything was timed perfectly. I had the best duck ever and my wife had lobster risotto that was amazing. It’s so good they were able to recover from the recent hurricanes! We will be back soon.

Looking forward to our next excellent ding experience at Mediterraneo Ristorante Italiano. Reservations are simple with Open Table. A warm welcome upon arrival leads to a lovely dining table attended by hospitality professions who provided us with very attentive service while not obtrusive. The food is excellent; cold food is delivered cold and hot food is delivered hot! Numerous fine wines to choose from by the glass or the bottle. Lovely desserts, coffees, and after dinner libations. We had excellent service from the minute we walked in all of the weight staff coordinated so someone was around our table most times. We came in for the half-price wine and we each had a lamb chop some more than others and it was fabulous.

Kore is about providing an elevated, exceptionally memorable experience through the decor, plateware and thoughtfulness put into the expansive options they have. I wish their dessert menu breathed a bit more Korean authenticity to it. For example, it would be nice to see them feature Hotteok, Songpyeon, Yakgwa,or Baesuk, to name a few traditional Korean sweets. It would also be nice to see their beverage program expand upon Korean alcoholic beverages and cocktails that reflected cultural tradition: for example, Gwasilju, as an option for those who want to drink their dessert yet in a low alcohol form, or perhaps see Sansachun in a seasonal inspired cocktail. Otherwise, Kore remains a favorite that I’ve visited repeatedly and I’d recommend for special occasions.
