Darwin was an amazing server. We had great service and the food was amazing. The food came out in great timing. Darwin was also very accommodating. My group of 12 had an amazing time at Violi and will definitely come back.

My first time there and it was fantastic ! When we walked in, we were greeted by Cathy. She was absolutely awesome! Great personality and perfect for this type of environment. She seated us and Alex took care of us while we dined. Another fantastic individual! The Pork Chop and mashed potatoes were THE BEST and I also enjoyed the Trio of the Month! Definitely a five star experience!

Our waitress, I believe, Jessica was her name , was exceptional. Not only did she provide courteous service, but her candid , informed recommendations were insightful, given our previous experiences at Coopershawk! The new Abrillante, International wine was a perfect accompaniment to the decadent chef’s cheesecake recommendation! A bottle is now waiting patiently in my refrigerator waiting to be uncorked! Gibson's is a very dependable and consistent restaurant. I have found both the food and service to be excellent. Their steaks and desserts are particular stand outs in my opinion. I will return to Gibson's and have been a customer for more than 10 years.

This has become our new Christmas Eve tradition! From the moment we walked in, the festive atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning Christmas decorations that added such a warm, cozy touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service was impeccable as well; our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does. Whether you're here for a holiday gathering or just a special meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
