Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We found Libertine on OpenTable when looking for gluten free Italian food on the North End. The menu is 98% gluten free and the staff are very knowledgeable of gluten allergies. Our server was excellent, we never had to ask for anything. They served us gluten free bread before we ordered and with the soup I had. The bread was so fluffy and fresh, the best gf bread that I have ever had. Our server gave great recommendations and we loved everything that we ordered. We would highly recommend to anyone but especially to gluten free eaters!

Great meal as usual. Some menu changes that are my favorites are disappointing: duck no longer on the menu and the lobster risotto is no longer paired with the scallops.
