Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Beacon Hill

I ordered my steak "black and blue" and it was a bit over cooked to my liking. Since sending it back stresses out my husband I decided to keep it but was none the less disappointed in part because I had eaten half of it before the server even checked on us. Had he checked on us sooner I would have likely sent it back. I am always surprised when steak houses can't get steak doneness perfected.

My wife and I love it here! Food and service is always great. And the vibe — well, it’s just fantastic and welcoming. We feel very lucky that this gem is in our neighborhood! We’ll be there again on New Years Eve for an early dinner. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner so enjoyable!

As on previous visits Mare was great.. We started with fresh oysters. We had the waiter pick for us and he did an excellent job. My wife the pasta with mushrooms which she loved. I had the sword fish which was cooked perfectly, nice and moist. We shared an affogato for dessert, one of our favorites. Our server was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The evening was perfect.

Fantastic first visit, will try very hard to come back soon (live about an hour away). Every bit of food hit the right note, chicken was crispy, hot and perfectly seasoned, drinks were varied and well made. Mac and cheese with brisket is a must ! Service was extremely courteous and attentive.
