Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Greenwood

Of St Elmo’s, Hyde Park, Capital Grille, and Ruth’s Chris, this is the best place to get a fantastic steal and drinks in Indianapolis. The drinks were great and I loved the steak and dessert. Popovers were good as well. Nothing was bad. Service was great. we went to Mel’s downstairs after and that place is the bomb. GO HERE NOW!!

We splurge once a year to come here and it never disappoints. It’s not super fancy so we don’t feel out of place, but it’s a very nice place for a special date night. The food and drinks are always delicious. This visit I got the filet which was *chefs kiss* as always, but the brussel sprouts were where the meal really shined. The toasted ravioli appetizer was perfect. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail, with the signature famous cocktail sauce they share with their sister restaurant St. Elmo’s. If you’ve somehow never tried this gem, do yourself a favor and go. Worth every penny.

Took my wife for Valentine’s Day. Had a reservation. There was much confusion up front because one person was trying to handle seating and Door Dash and carry out all at once. However, we got seated quickly and served quickly. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the Motor City works pizza and my wife had a chicken dish. We both enjoyed the meal and our time at the restaurant. It was a little pricey (over $100 w/ tip). But overall, no complaints.

My husband and I traveled to Indianapolis for Valentine's Weekend and enjoyed an amazing dinner. The service from Michael, our waiter, was amazing. The meal was delicious. The sea bass with scallops and lobster risotto was the best. The staff was even willing to save ur reservation after arriving 16 minutes late due to the arrival flight being late. Thank you for being so considerate to us out-of-town guest on one of the busiest nights of the year, Valentine’s Day!

I am very pleased with my dining experience. The food quality and preparation thereof, with the exception of poultry, was outstanding. As to the poultry, it was very, very dry and I declined subsequent offerings. The beef, lamb and pork were outstanding, as were all side dishes. As to service, the wait staff was equally outstanding. Very, very attentive. As a customer, I found their initial attempt to upsell somewhat excessive. Were I ownership, however, I would have been quite pleased with their attempts and would reward them accordingly. Will I return? Certainly so.
