- CCarlVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •298 reviews5.0Dined todayReally enjoyed our dinner at Atchafalaya Restaurant (as usual). Loved the decorated building itself, which is a renovated house. Inside is nicely decorated with murals and New Orleans photos. Bar area is very comfy and well stocked. We loved our appetizer of Blue Crab Raviolo which comes with Shiitake mushrooms. We also enjoyed our gumbo that featured a very dark and tasty roux, and very tender oysters. The Gulf Fish of the day was Redfish, which came with butternut squash, shrimp sauce and crawfish tails. Absolutely delicious. The Scallops were perfectly cooked, tender and delectable. The Shrimp and Grits were served with heads on as is the New Orleans tradition to keep in the flavor, and topped with andouille sausage in an appetizing creole shrimp broth. Service by Corey was outstanding, and she really made us feel like she was glad we were there.More infoAtchafalaya RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Garden District•4.9
- CCraigVIPCincinnati / Dayton •106 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI went to lunch on a whim because it was near my conference. I am so glad I went. The service was so friendly and kind. Red Beans and rice with fried chicken was prepared perfectly. Gumbo is spot on. I loved my experience completely!More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6
- MMariaVIPNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOverall it's an amazing restaurant. You definitely need a reservation. However, the hostess was a little stuffy. We checked in and were 20 minutes early. We were told we had to wait. Walked around for 10 minutes and came back. Another couple went to check in with same reservation time as us and were going to be seated - until I stepped forward to question why before us. Once you get seated, the ambiance, service, food and personable staff make up for how the experience started. Definitely save room for dessert. - TTiffanyVIPSan Diego •41 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoVery good food! We ordered the deviled eggs, crawfish beignets, truffle fries, fried oysters, Cuban sandwich, burger, Creole tomato sandwich, French onion soup, gumbo & the scallops. Don’t judge! We were a big group. The crawfish beignets, Cuban sandwich, French onion soup & gumbo were the best out of everything. They were really good! The cocktails were AWESOME!
