- SSabrinaMississippi •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe (7 of us) ate at Luke on Christmas Day. We were seated near the door which wasn’t ideal but wasn’t bad. The streetcar periodically going by made the noise level high because of our proximity to the door. The service was excellent in spite of it being a holiday and the restaurant being packed. The menu had nice variety. The two best items we had were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Matzo Ball Soup. The worst thing we had was the Hanger Steak. It was ordered “medium” and came out bleeding. It was also rubbery. We returned it and that person ordered something else. They were completely okay with this and removed it from the bill. The Trout Almandine was good with the fish being extremely fresh. We recommend Luke and will return.More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6
- AAshleyNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was my first experience enjoying dinner at a restaurant on Christmas Eve and the service was great! Brock was our server for a table of 6, none of us had ever been here before and he was great with suggestions! Will definitely be back!More infoLula Restaurant DistilleryPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Lower Garden District•4.6
- BBonnieNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024My husband and I came to the restaurant to pay homage to the great Chess Master, Paul Morphy, and the restaurant was a way to visit the place. The house belonged to the prominent Morphy family and they have a small room dedicated to him with a chess board and a photo of the great Chess Master. Brennan's is THE place to have brunch! They are justly famous for the quality of the food. AMAZING: Blueberry Cornmeal Cake, Seafood Gumbo, Eggs Sardou, Eggs Hussarde, all the sides and try the New Orleans Style Coffee.More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.7
- TTrasieVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •4 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024Just had appetizers and oysters. We had the blue crab toast. They were delicious. Also ordered a dozen grilled oysters topped with crab. Served hot and perfect. We did order the appetizer ribs. They were good but not sure I’d order them again.More infoSeaWitchPrice: Expensive• American• Garden District•4.5
