Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Palatine

We had the best dinner experience tonight at the Cooper’s Hawk , Kildeer Illinois . Our server, Shannon was great very friendly polite gave us excellent service. We talked to the manager, Jennifer who came to our table and complimented at how great our service was. Jennifer was so friendly and personable. She added to the experience.

Excellent food, really great. We had the steak Perry’s and the filet both cooked perfectly. Kinda dark, hard to read the menu and slightly loud, but we are both north of 60. Service was polite and attentive. Interesting observation, I ordered a glass of wine, there are 2 options and prices, the waitress didn’t clarify or ask which I wanted, she just brought the larger more expensive size. Expensive, just under $300 including tip for 2 people, 1 lobster bisque (which was excellent) 1 wedge salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 glasses of wine. The food and service was excellent, kinda pricey but we will be back.

Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu and the waiter remarked that the chef makes a great dish. True! I loved my meal: aglio e olio with grilled shrimp! Excellent salted caramel gelato (we are one and ordered a second)! I loved the espresso martini. Holiday lighting enhanced the ambience!

It was a lovely evening with my Husband and adult goddaughter. We picked a good restaurant to celebrate Christmas. We were seated immediately with a reservation at 5:00. Having the smaller menu for the Christmas Holiday was a very good idea. You still had many choices and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, with a cocktail to start and a delicious dessert. It was a good choice and never felt like we were being rushed. Glad we chose Palm Court Restaurant for our Christmas Dinner.
