- TTheresa ASan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe service was fantastic! I could go on and on about how excellent our waitress, Tatiana, was, and how fast and professional the other staff were! They worked really well together and it was as pleasure to see. The views were great! The food was okay. It lacked seasoning, so it was pretty meh and bland, although beautifully presented and cooked well. For example, my braised short ribs were ABSOLUTELY tender, but there was hardly a particle of salt in them, so the flavor of the meat was absent. (The sweet potato fries were spot on though!)More infoBarrel House TavernPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sausalito•4.5
- AAlexandraGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI LOVE the Angler! It is such a great spot in San Francisco. Located along the embarcadero, the ambiance inside and outside the restaurant is great. I have dined here at least times now, and have not had a bad dish. The wine/cocktail menu is great, with a good selection of mocktails as well. Dishes to highlight from 13Jan: embered oyster starter, radicchio salad, hen of the woods mushrooms, skate wing, full chicken (the BBQ sauce it's served with is so good), and of course the sundae and chocolate bar dessert. We tried the frog legs as well as they are always on the menu, and I never order them. The flavor was incredible, and the fry on them was also very nicely done. Worth trying at least once, even if it's not your thing. I already can't wait to go back! Service is always great, very friendly and personable staff to make the dining experience more fun. I would love to see the chili crusted sea bass make it back to the menu, as well as the antelope (venison?) tartare, as that was also delicious.More infoAngler San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
- LLauraVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •55 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Jan 2025This is a classy, top notch dining experience in Sausalito. Worth the drive, as the food is excellent and the ambiance hard to beat. Old world charm oozes from every wooden sconce lit booth. We shared a meal with very dear foodie friends here and they were duly impressed with everything.More infoPoggioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sausalito•4.7
