Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Tiburon

We had a great post-new year celebration with girlfriends. Our waitress, Samora, was very helpful in pointing out menu items that were excellent. Food was great and of course we ordered Tiarmasu for desert. Poggios is our local go-to restaurant so we will definitely be back! Happy New Year!

Best calamari ever. Would recommend you don’t miss that

This is such a cozy and romantic venue. Set in the tranquil and idyllic Village of Tiburon. The petit left bank is everything you’d want from a little French bistro. The menu is really good. I’ve gone there at least 10 times and the service and food have always been excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Afternoon tea was amazing. Delicate petite sandwiches with caviar and delicious sweets. We ordered a half bottle of champagne and enjoyed the experience!

I was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.
