Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in West Bank

This place saved the night. After leaving another restaurant for horrible service, we found a last minute reservation at Copper Vine and it was incredible! The service was fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was top notch! So glad that we found this place and will definitely return to try all of the other things we saw on the menu. If you like wine, they had a great wine menu with option for 2.5oz, 5oz, 8oz pours, or a full bottle. They also have a large selection of wines on tap as well as wines from the bottle.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for an elevated experience. And Morrow Steak did not disappoint. The decor! The atmosphere! THE FOOD! It was, honestly, one of the best dining experiences we’ve EVER had. There’s absolutely no way that we won’t be back. Our server, Glyniss, was so friendly and knowledgeable and made great suggestions! We loved her. One visit has made Morrow Steak our favorite restaurant and we’ve been to hundreds of restaurants in New Orleans alone. We’re telling everyone! Thank you so much! We (7 of us) ate at Luke on Christmas Day. We were seated near the door which wasn’t ideal but wasn’t bad. The streetcar periodically going by made the noise level high because of our proximity to the door. The service was excellent in spite of it being a holiday and the restaurant being packed. The menu had nice variety. The two best items we had were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Matzo Ball Soup. The worst thing we had was the Hanger Steak. It was ordered “medium” and came out bleeding. It was also rubbery. We returned it and that person ordered something else. They were completely okay with this and removed it from the bill. The Trout Almandine was good with the fish being extremely fresh. We recommend Luke and will return.

My husband and I came to the restaurant to pay homage to the great Chess Master, Paul Morphy, and the restaurant was a way to visit the place. The house belonged to the prominent Morphy family and they have a small room dedicated to him with a chess board and a photo of the great Chess Master. Brennan's is THE place to have brunch! They are justly famous for the quality of the food. AMAZING: Blueberry Cornmeal Cake, Seafood Gumbo, Eggs Sardou, Eggs Hussarde, all the sides and try the New Orleans Style Coffee.

- shrimp and grits very well seasoned - duck confit good balance of sweet savory - ambiance lovely, but I read somewhere there was jazz during lunch and it seemed very muted, but maybe that’s just me - service was exceptional! our server Chris kept checking in on us and went above and beyond.
