Only 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD the Braybrook Hotel has plenty of off street parking and offers a range of award winning facilities. The first Braybrook Hotel is thought to have been erected around 1854, possibly in response to the demand from travellers to the gold fields. However, the earliest rate record found for this building was in 1863-4 when Charles Niven Young was the licensee and John Lang was the owner. The service was very good, staff were friendly and quickly cleared plates from tables. The food was good but for dinner I expected a little more variety. Dessert was very good. The feel of the diner was warm and inviting, I love the new look!
