Loved our dinner at Elysian Cafe. Food great, it was 2 for 1 entrees so a great deal! Packed so noisy, but food delish! Service was a little lacking but I think that was because they were so busy.

Four of us from Florida for our yearly week in NYC. For 12 years this has been one of our must-do stops and last night didn’t disappoint. My son and I both had the sirloin (one medium rare and the other Pittsburgh rare). My wife and daughter-in-law had the filet mignon, both medium rare. All the steaks were done to perfection. Sides were onion rings, lobster Mac-n-cheese, and a hamachi tuna appetizer. As a BIG sushi eater, this was a different twist on the Japanese version and I probably wouldn’t order again, but it was tasty in its own way. We’ll be back again next year.
