Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Renton

This was my second time dining and we had a great experience. Very attentive and friendly service. Food was served promptly and delicious. We were a group of 6 who ended up spending almost 3 hours there and did not feel rushed. Highly recommend for seafood and friendly service.

We had an excellent date night at the melting pot. We’ve been previously, but this time we had outstanding service from our waiter Will. Looking forward to visiting again!

What a great neighborhood gem of a restaurant! You can def feel and taste the love of what they do! The view of downtown and surroundings is amazing. 💯 recommend!

I took my ten year old sister for a "fancy" tea party as a Christmas gift and she rated the experience as a ten out of ten. She ordered a strawberry lemonade, which I stole a sip of and was impressed by how fresh and tasty the house made strawberry puree was. We both enjoyed our curated tea sandwiches, my favorite from the adult menu was the salmon and cucumber, her favorite from the kids was the Nutella. The second tier of the tea tray had fresh fruit and crumpets, we enjoyed the seasonal cranberry-orange jam. The dessert tier was especially yummy, and even though I'm not usually a fan of macarons, we took home a half dozen to share with the rest of the family. The shop was a bit noisy, but I attribute that to it being fully booked for the holiday season, and assume it would usually be much quieter.

A special shout out to Jackie, our server, for the excellent service she provided. Our appetizers were spaced out, so when our meal appeared, we weren't still working on them. A big plus was when we didn't have to wait around with empty glasses, which is always nice. The food was excellent with good-sized portions for lunch specials. Pizookies were delicious as always. Our reservation was during lunchtime, so it was nice and quiet and not hurried at all.
