Best Lunch Restaurants in Buellton

First time there and everything was great. Going back.

The food here was really good. The music was amazing… they had a Vicente playlist going. I noticed they had a ton of bottles of Fortaleza tequila on the wall. If you’re looking for that tequila… this is the place to go.

Visiting Solvang for the first time, my family and I went twice to this restaurant! I really enjoyed the two meals I had - Fish of the day (I chose the Halibut), and it came with such yummy potatoes! I also had the Chicken parmesan, the right amount of seasoning and cheese, and it was very soft! Also the (non-alcoholic) cucumber sparkling drink! Oh! And that tiramisu was one of the best ones I've tried so far! The bartender, waiters, host, cooks, busser, and every staff member were so nice! And they even recognized us coming back. Keri was the kindest server. She was so full of love and very attentive. We really appreciated her suggestions, energy, thoughtfulness, efficiency, friendliness, and overall loving demeanor. She really made our experience so memorable and wonderful and every single way. This is honestly some of the best food we have ever had. Oh my goodness make sure to order the cornbread and get the street corn! It is truly the best dinner and we regret not ordering dessert. We would come back tomorrow, but you guys are closed on Christmas, which I’m happy so people can be with their families. All around wonderful restaurant we literally wanna fly in our families from around the country to come try the food because it’s that good! we will definitely be back the next time. We are in town. We stoped in on a mini holiday vacation our experience at The Hitching Post was amazing. Our waitress Jennifer went above and beyond, handling our dietary needs with ease and attention to detail. Her cheerful personality in what was an extremely busy evening, the ambiance of the restaurant and AMAZING FOOD made for an extremely enjoyable Pre Christmas Eve dinner for us all. We can’t thank Jennifer enough, and are still talking about what a great night we had over all.
