Best Lunch Restaurants in Burlingame

This French restaurant, at the corner of Primrose and Chapin Aves in Burlingame, is well worth a 5-star rating on all counts. Modern, yet subtle, decor, unobtrusive period music in the background, excellent and varied selections, ample portions, and fantastic service provide a reason to return time and time again. Our party of three enjoyed the rack of lamb, the lobster ravioli, and the cassoulet. Each dish showed the attention and skills of a master chef. In addition to a la carte choices, they offer a prix fixe menu at $65 that provides an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert, with no menu exceptions, for this very sensible price. The restaurant offers a broad selection of wines and beer but does not have a full bar so anyone in need of a cocktail before dinner may feel temporary disappointment. Nonetheless, Chou Chou is fine dining!

Every time I have eaten here, the food is terrific! Very consistent. Service perfect. Very attentive and considerate. Definitely go here for birthday celebrations. They treat you like royalty! Love this place. Does not ever disappoint. Heading there again on the 29th for a 92nd birthday. Twice in 1 week! Prices are great too.

Great food! I tried the skewers, feta and olives, and the casserole and they were all delicious. The inside of the restaurant was decorated nicely and was beautiful. The hostess and bussers were very friendly. I think our waiter was the only one taking orders that night because he seemed a little stressed and always in a rush, but he was good.

The event as special..family Xmas Eve…and we were so happy that we came to Pacific Catch. Our waiter was fast,efficient and very kind and friendly, All of the serving staff was very accommodating. The menu was awesome and the selections we chose were delicious. We will certainly come back

It is a nice place for Vegan food. The service was excellent!
