- JJudithNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoLarge range of truly delicious offerings. Plus open on December 25, when very few restaurants are. The mushroom flatbread and the salmon Benedict were real standouts.More infoAmbar Capitol HillPrice: Moderate• Balkan style• Capitol Hill•4.7
- WWillWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ordered many things and nothing disappointed. We tried all three devil eggs, hush puppies, firecracker shrimp, and wings for appetizers. There were only three of us and we ate all of it. For mains we had the scallops (special for the week), Rib Eye, and the chicken and waffles. All of it was fantastic. We had two chocolate desserts. The desserts were good but a bit rich.More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6

We've had the skillet bread in the past which was very filling with a rich marinara sauce. The Cream of Crab soup is ok, but not great with more broth than crab. I don't like Sherry, and usually it's put on top of the soup, but here it's cooked into the base which I wish I'd known before ordering. The blueberry cheesecake was rich and creamy with a generous dollop of whipped cream, definitely more than enough to share.More infomatchbox Capitol HillPrice: Moderate• American• Capitol Hill•4
