Best Lunch Restaurants in Coquitlam / Port Coquitlam

Our server was helpful and accommodated a change to the menu for an allergy. He was patient and around just enough. The food was so delicious and flavourful. My favourite was the taro chips and dip. The prawns were also delish. Even though we were seated on the outdoor patio in December, it was warm enough. Just wish there were slightly more substantial chairs. We were seated on very small stools.

Hawksworth portions are so small that I need a microscope to see it properly. However, portions for the Boathouse Christmas menu are quite generous for the $$$ paid. I ordered the Moroccan Halibut and asked for an extra side of wild rice thinking that the halibut would not be filling enough. I was wrong, the halibut was very filling because of the generous portions, plus there were free refills on the bread. Awesome experience, will be back!

Family of 6 gathering pre Christmas, we all had fantastic meals - steak, mashed potato rolls, burger, fries, chicken burger, truffle fries, chicken parm, warm salad and something else - all 5 star excellent! The apple pie is the best i have had ever - stunning! Our service was wonderful. It was a little loud to talk that’s the only critique otherwise fantastic! Will recommend to family and friends.

Last night marked my fourth visit to Gordon Ramsay Burger in Coquitlam and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The service was impeccable - our server graciously refilled water glasses and let us linger for hours without a hint of impatience. A small but thoughtful gesture stood out: I was offered a beer on the house since the keg ran low, leaving my glass less than full - a classy touch! The truffle fries and yam fries are absolute must-tries, elevating any meal. My truffle burger was decent last night, though the egg overpowered the truffle flavor; I preferred the mushroom burger from my last visit. My friends enjoyed their blue cheese burgers, vegan and regular. Add the "See You Later" red wine, and you’ve got the perfect pairing!
