Paisans is an Italian word for friends, but to us, it also means family. Family has always been at the center of Paisans’ beginning and the driving force behind its success. Paisans Pizza was started by Luigi, an immigrant to the United States, in 1985. In a small corner store in Cicero, Illinois, Luigi started making pizzas out of a household kitchen oven. Was able to do a wine tasting on Thanksgiving for the first time in a year. Had the butternut squash soup. Some brussel sprout appetizer and the steak medallions always delicious and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Yum! Yum!

In the beginning I disliked how slow the service was. But it all changed .i came back the second time because the first time the food WAS great. Now it’s our fifth time here. It grew on me. The food is always on point. My favorite is the ribeye with mushrooms and side of mash potatoes with gravy. But I’ve tried most of the menu already and I must say nothings has disappointed me so far. The fish of the day is a favorite of my husbands. Will continue to dine here. Shout out to Don.
