- BBeverleyDerbyshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a lovely meal here tonight. Myself and husband had the two course Christmas dinner and it was delicious with plenty of fresh vegetables and lovely Turkey. My daughter had the Korean chicken burger and she said it was tasty. The waitress was helpful and looked after us well. The place was very festive with lots of Christmas decorations.More infoDevonshire Arms - BaslowPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Baslow•3.8

- MMichaelManchester/Greater Manchester •3 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Nov 2024Fabulous food in a splendid setting. From the moment you enter you know you're in the right place for a great experience. The staff were friendly and just attentive enough, not too much, just right! . We had the taster meal and started with canapes in the open fire warmed bar. Every dish was a delight. Highlights for us were the scallop and mackerel tartare and the red mullet but everything was superb. great combinations of tastes without being fussy or complex for the sake of it. The wine flight took us out of comfort zone of big Spanish and Italian reds or bone dry Italian whites. A smokey oak aged Californian pinot noir and a dense Saperavi stood out; all the choices complemented its dish perfectly.More infoThe Peacock At RowsleyPrice: Expensive• British• Matlock•4.7
