Best Lunch Restaurants in Edgewater

One of my top two brunch spots in Chicago. Fantastic tomato basil soup. Incredible avocado eggs Benedict with amazing hollandaise on a bed of arugula and a mouth watering key lime pie. I’m an aficionado of all 3 dishes and these guys knock it out of the park. The atmosphere is shabby barn chic and completely adorable. The staff is attentive. 5 out of 5 stars every time.

We got the chilaquiles omelette, breakfast sandwich, and hot chocolate. They were all delicious! The crispy tortilla chips on the omelette were the perfect balance for the perfectly cooked omelette.

Overall, the best restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Chicago. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main courses felt a little short, but still we’re good . And I did notice that they forgot to give us our onion soup and sparkling water we ordered 

We had a Mother/Daughter outing at the Bamboo Bar and had a great time... The entire staff was nice, pleasant and helpful. The food came out fast and was great as well as the different Mimosas we drank.. We had several pictures taken of us before we ate, to commemorate our day together. The Santa Baby Bar Display was exquisite, All 3 floors were decorated beautifully. It was so breathtaking. We were able to take pictures with the different Holiday Props.. Our Mother/ Daughter outing was everything thanks to the Bamboo Bar and staff. We lost our framed picture we took before we ate, while taking other pics and one of the wait staff found it and put it up for us.. We were happy and very grateful that he remembered us.....We will definitely be back... And it's best to get reservations ahead of time...so you don't have to wait..... Simply Wonderful ❤️❤️

An absolute joy to dine here. We went to the Zoo Lights first and then had an amazing dinner here. Just a 5-10 minute walk from the east gate of the zoo. The service was so great, the food was amazing! For a downtown restaurant, the prices seemed to be reasonable- Would be on my list of places to go again!
