- AAlexandreVancouver / British Columbia •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTop-notch French-inspired cuisine. On par with what I would find at a good Montreal restaurant. I had heard ups and downs since Chef Feenie took over but the meal we had was better than Lumiere. We shared a burrata salad with local beets -- nothing otherworldly but fresh ingredients and tasty. Also shared the hamachi crudo which is apparently award-winning, and I can see why. I had one of the best duck breasts I have had in my life, with seared foie gras accompaniment to boot. My friend had the veal with morel sauce. Both were really top-notch. We sat at the bar and had very friendly and attentive service. Wine list is relatively small for this type of restaurant, and the bottom end of the price range is missing. We had the sommelier suggest a bottle of low-intervention burgundy which suited our food well. Atmosphere is very classic and not too loud. Overall a classy restaurant perfect for a business meeting, tete-a-tete, or a special occasion when you want to hear each other talk!More infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- TtimvipSeattle / Eastern Washington •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely amazing food and tremendous service. One of the best sushi restaurants we’ve ever been to and truly worth a trip in itself. This was our second time and we drove up for this from Seattle. We’ll definitely be back!More infoOkeya Kyujiro VancouverPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Yaletown•4.9
- DDarlenevipVancouver / British Columbia •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis restaurant is located on the edge of Yaletown and easy to find. We walked from the Fairmont Waterfront (20 mins) and found it with ease. We were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert, which was on a Friday night, so it was good we had a reservation. I'm not too sure about the parking as we walked or would have taken an Uber. This place was bumpin (Friday night and a concert) and had a great atmosphere! We checked in and were called once our table was ready. We were seated by the friendly hostess, close to the pizza oven, which was very cool and watched them prepare and toss the pizza dough. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The menu has a variety of starters, mains and shareables. We started with a Ceasars salad (the dressing was fantastic) you could taste the freshness with a hint of anchovies. We ordered the 8oz filet with their amazing chimichurri and sided it with an order of their lobster/ crab ravioli (which was spectacular) and split everything. It was the perfect portion and not too heavy. We were happy with our restaurant choice and the food items we order. I would definitely love to come back and try more of their menu items and recommend this experience at Per Se Social Corner on Homer St, in Vancouver. - MMarlisseVancouver / British Columbia •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food and service is great. My husband and I shared the chicken parmigiana and pasta with spicy vodka tomato sauce, really great. This is the second time I’ve had the chicken parmigiana, definitely a share dish. Also had a happy hour transfusion (vodka, grape juice, ginger) so yummy!More infoDovetailPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Yaletown•4.8
- MMariavipVancouver / British Columbia •27 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024Great lunch. Felt rushed - the tone was set upon checking in (with reservations) that our table had a reservation and hour later. I looked on line and there were still availability for reservations every hour after ours. When you are having several courses, the timeline is set by the server who takes our order and the kitchen. Our order was not taken promptly so that at up into one hour lunch. At the the one hour mark, we were not yet finished but there were other table empty and no one waiting at the door. 😡 food was good and have been wanting to eat here for quite sometime. Would I eat here again -yes. Would I make a reservation for lunch - yes but at 2 pm when you know there is no reservations coming in for your table after because I want to enjoy the food and not chow down like I was at a fast food joint.More infoThe Lunch LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Commercial Drive•4.7
