Best Lunch Restaurants in La Villita

Drinks, food and service were on point, as usual. I had the Tuna Tostadas on the appetizer menu as my meal. They were delicious, and the sauce was incredible. My party had a variety of items and everyone was pleased.

We had a great dinner at Mesquite! Although they were out of the barbacoa tacos at the time, we ended up ordering the Chuleta Asada and the Chile Colorado, both were amazing. They even were able to accommodate gluten & dairy free options for one of our guests! And the free chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve ever had! The margarita was amazing and fresh as well :) the waiters were also very attentive and helpful, we never ran out of chips!

Very popular, so make a reservation. Excellent Asian style food with generous portions at reasonable prices. Items labeled for allergens and kitchen able to make modifications. Despite being crowded, service was attentive and food came out promptly. We enjoyed brussel sprouts, popcorn chicken (GF!) and chapchi noodles. Too much food for 2! The Pearl district is a lot if fun with shops, hotel, restaurants and even a cool supermarket. Every visitor needs to spend some time in the district a short ride or 1.5 mile walk from downtown.

This was our second meal in two days here at Brasserie Mon Chou Chou. I can’t say thank you enough to the fantastic wait staff and wonderful chef (sous chef, etc). The experience was a joy from the very start until our departure. We enjoyed ourselves and relished every bite. If we had time to return and further explore the menu we would! Lovely experience at Ambler Texas Kitchen! Got to sit outdoors and had a lovely view of the Riverwalk and see a wedding on Marriage Island. Had a delicious breakfast and great service.
