- TTomLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI have wanted to eat here for a while and got the chance this week. It was everything I had hoped for and more... Seasonal menu with great choice and the cookery absolutely on point. What's lovely is that there are four courses with choices on each course which works for me better than a tasting menu where the diner doesn't have choice. Everything I had tasted and looked amazing. You can tell its based on classical French roots...the core ingredient is the star and is not 'messed about with'. The associated sauces, garnish, textures all compliment it. Great wine list and a very good range of wines by the glass which works well if you have four courses with the choices supported by knowledgeable but unpretentious sommeliers. Good food is one thing but its the service and ambience that makes a restaurant you want to return to. I definitely will be returning whenever I can. Fantastic food and wine in an elegant but unstuffy environment with knowledgeable, cheerful and perfectly attentive staff. Thank you!More infoTrinityPrice: Very Expensive• European• Clapham•4.9
- MMarkLondon •11 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoBetter food than the other ‘gastro’ pubs in the area. I think they have a new chef. On this latest visit, the food was good, but we waited nearly an hour between starter and main… service was patchy - some fantastic staff working really hard are let down by some of the service team. Still a good choice for quality food in a pub on the edge of the common.More infoThe Fox and GrapesPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Wimbledon•4.5

The food was exquisite and the service is impeccable and I think very fair in price and value. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place as everything about it is really special. The people who look after you are knowledgable and personable and nothing is too much trouble. You get excellent advice on pairing wines to go with your dishes and the whole experience is effortless and memorable. Have been doing an annual trip for Christmas for a few years now and have been on the odd ocassion at other times and will continue to do this as each time the experience is amazing.More infoThe French TablePrice: Very Expensive• Modern European• Surbiton•4.9

- RReanneBirmingham/West Midlands •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Dec 2024The atmosphere was so nice. I went on a date on a Tuesday and had the 2-4-1 stakes which were cooks perfectly. The only downside is it has to be the same stake but I didn’t really nice. We had 2 rump stakes and some bread and butter which only came to £30 I would definitely recommend coming on a Tuesday.More infoBordelaisePrice: Moderate• French• Tooting•4.5
