Best Lunch Restaurants in Diss

Good food well presented, the ambience is good it's a pleasant place to have a meal. The service was excellent, very polite and attentive staff , nothing was too much trouble. The only criticism was that it was a very cold day and the heating in the restaurant area was minimal, I spoke with other diners and they mentioned how cold they were and they had put their coats over their legs to keep warm. That spoilt the overall feel of the place but it's a small gripe that can be easily fixed with more heating.

What can we say? Just superb Sunday! The staff were helpful, the roast was absolutely stunning! Also a special mention to our waitress whose name I believe was Charlotte. She was super attentive and went above and beyond! Perfect pub and a perfect evening. Will 100% be returning

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant. Food and staff excellent. A lovely venue and one that we will happily travel to.

Tuesday buy one ang get a basic one free is a true bargain, especially during their happy hour! Excellent service and food not forgetting a really decent pint in one of few remaining "proper" pubs.

Absolutely amazing staff, and food, good to have live music, if just a little to loud, but this is of course subjective. Great value, and ambience, I will return with my family. So good for Wivenhoe to have such a venue. Thank you, please maintain your excellent standards.
