- MMinnaVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOne of mine and my daughter's favourite restaurants in Vancouver! The Food, the portion sizes, the atmosphere, the service. All exceptional. Nice small plates so we can try a few different things and share. - AAlexandreVancouver / British Columbia •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTop-notch French-inspired cuisine. On par with what I would find at a good Montreal restaurant. I had heard ups and downs since Chef Feenie took over but the meal we had was better than Lumiere. We shared a burrata salad with local beets -- nothing otherworldly but fresh ingredients and tasty. Also shared the hamachi crudo which is apparently award-winning, and I can see why. I had one of the best duck breasts I have had in my life, with seared foie gras accompaniment to boot. My friend had the veal with morel sauce. Both were really top-notch. We sat at the bar and had very friendly and attentive service. Wine list is relatively small for this type of restaurant, and the bottom end of the price range is missing. We had the sommelier suggest a bottle of low-intervention burgundy which suited our food well. Atmosphere is very classic and not too loud. Overall a classy restaurant perfect for a business meeting, tete-a-tete, or a special occasion when you want to hear each other talk!More infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
