Best Lunch Restaurants in West Los Angeles

The food never disappoints at Water Grill Santa Monica! It was excellent, the best Mussels Appetizer we’d ever had anywhere. The scallops were incredible and the drinks were excellent. A new Christmas Eve tradition has begun!

The Penthouse Restaurant at the Huntley is a true LA/Santa Monica GEM. I can't say enough about Chef Lee who consistently serves up excellent cuisine. The Huntley is lucky to have him as their Executive Chef. I can't say enough about the meals that I've enjoyed at his hand. The restaurant has a fun welcoming vibe which changes mood at different times of the evening. More romantic and relaxing later. Cocktails at the bar are really a treat as are the views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica pier. I and my guests have often come for a cocktail and stayed for a feast. Sea Food is top notch. I highly recommend the Penthouse for any Special occasion or just a great dining out experience - lunch or dinner. I stayed at the hotel for a week and ate my way through the Specials. Staff will always tries to accommodate you to make certain you have the most enjoyable experience possible. Not inexpensive, but a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. If you want a quieter table, booth or Cabana, ask to sit in Area facing Santa Monica and LA.

The food was amazing (scallop hand roll, octopus salad), the service was decent. However, if you are there after 8:30, the music changes from enjoyable Mexican music to hip hop with the dj …not my style and I couldn’t hear myself think.

We enjoyed every aspect of our experience at The Ivy. The owner was actually there when we were and she was spectacular! The staff was very kind and helpful. The food is worth every cent and incredibly fresh. The freshcolorful flowers, custom pottery, art and atmosphere are such a staple in Los Angeles and truly one not to miss! You can tell the love put into the space and that exists with the staff.
