Best Lunch Restaurants in West Point

Nice meal, okay atmosphere. Appetizers were delicious - warm shrimp salad and scallop - yum! Entrees were also great - delicious duck and branzino in a delectable broth. Wine was delicious - though bartender seemed overwhelmed. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive.

Thumbs up! Best brunch with Santa in the area. Huge improvement from past ones here at bear mountain. Even Santa was cool!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! YOU MUST TRY THE IMPROVED RESTRUCTURED BRUNCH WITH SANTA!! Pros…..better room in tapas bar area…. Not over crowded… food selection much better …..service was very good. Cons/room for improvement ….beef should have been sliced thinner it was tough. Dipping sauce or something needed for salmon it was bland. This is just me giving constructive criticism . Not complaining!! Bear mountain staff you out did yourselves! ITHANK YOU SO MUCH!!! t was beautiful!!!

This is a fabulous restaurant. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. We enjoyed our meal and time together. We could easily carry on a conversation. We arrived an hour before our scheduled reservation which was a mistake on my part. They were gracious and accommodated us anyway. If you are in Beacon, make sure to stop here for a delicious meal and fantastic service.

Sandy our server has been there for years and is our favorite. She takes ownership of her job and makes the meal awesome …food was great and we love coming when visiting WP

Yesterday was the first time I ate at the Birdsall House. I decided to eat off the Sunday Brunch menu. The prix fix was a mere $30, which included a bloody Mary or Mimosa, an appetizer and an entree. I chose the virgin Bloody Mary, which was extremely delicious--didn't miss the vodka at all! I also had the very flavorful and creamy butternut squash soup as the appetizer . Corned beef hash with two eggs over easy was my chosen entree. The hash was not salty at all, and the pieces of corned beef were flavored nicely with sweet onions and potatoes. The serving was more than plentiful and also came with toast. Service was extremely friendly, prompt, but not rushed at all, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. My eating partner and I were attended to regularly in a most pleasant way.
