Best Organic Food Restaurants in Mission District

This restaurant is one of the best in San Francisco hands down. From the mysterious alley where it is located to the very high level of service, there is nothing about this restaurant that ever disappoints. The food is fantastic and the desserts are unique. The restaurant is vibrant but you also feel like you have privacy at your table. And the service — exceptional in every single sense of the word.

Always the best service in town. From the hostess to bartender to our server, everyone has our unique experiences in mind. In the hospitality world we talk a lot about “surprise and delight” moments for guests, of varying size depending on the group, occasion, etc, and foreign cinema always gets them JUUUST right. Not to mention the food is always superb

Date night from out of town. Made reservations and walked in and were seated promptly. Service was spot on. Food was as advertised and portions were large. Enjoyed the evening. Would recommend to others.

Excellent service and great tasting curry dishes. Definitely would go back in a heart beat. Big shareable dishes.

We were excited for the mix of sushi and cooked options on the izakaya-style menu. The Echigo 49er roll and the Mummy roll were among a set of rolls unique to Echigo and were exceptional. As were the negiri from their "fresh today" menu. The mango avocado roll was unexpectedly extra-delicious. The potato croquette over rice with a curry gravy was a great accompaniment to the sushi. Good sake selections and some unusual beer options added to the charm of the fare. Great ambience, we look forward to exploring more of their menu!
