Best Organic Food Restaurants in South Orange

Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday with his parents. From start to finish, our experience was amazing- which is happening less and less in NYC. The staff was so kind and friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. The atmosphere was beautiful! Quiet, cozy, not overwhelming and so clean. We started with the focaccia which was delicious and a couple of other appetizers. We all enjoyed our dishes and it was the perfect portion. Their cocktails are great too! Especially the classic spritz. The staff was so attentive and made my boyfriend’s day feel extra special. Thank you, Palma! Can’t wait to return.

As usual, Laboratorio kitchen did not disappoint. The Sole was perfectly cooked and served hot over spinach and haricot verts…. And it was delicious. The appy’s and desserts were fresh and delicately prepared. Lastly, service was on point. Another great dinner experience, Bravo Laboratorio Kitchen.

We enjoyed going out for dinner, and this was an experience. The server, Max, was excellent. He told us every dinner special with flair and personality, making every dish sound perfect. At his recommendation, we tried the tuna appetizer on pillow filo dough puffs; wow! We shared the beet salad (excellent), and the crab cakes were delicious. For dinner, the lamb chops were spectacular. We received a visit from Pete, who showed so much care for the details of the gorgeous Mediterranean interior, and Barbara, who ensured everything was perfect. Their care made us feel genuinely valued. We will make this a regular night out.

I can't say enough good things about this spot. My wife and I had heard great things, but it took us a while to make our way here. I've never had Italian food this good. My wife and I ordered an appetizer, 3 entrees, and dessert, and I swear all of them were equally amazing. Meaning, your eyes roll up in your head when you take your first bite because it's THAT good.
