- AAlexLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoYet another superlative experience- interesting starter of mackerel with some unusual accompaniments [successful blend of root veg, rhubarb, walnuts and fennel]; main course of perfectly cooked tender pork loin and a delightful lemon posset with blueberry compote to finish. Well worth the bib gourmand and a campaign for the establishment to gain a Michelin star needs to be initiated. Excellent value set lunch, sweetened by a complimentary glass of very quaffable house wine. [This January only] Thank you, Henry and Team.More infoThe Three OaksPrice: Expensive• British• Gerrards Cross•4.8

Service was warm and welcoming and you could feel genuine passion and enthusiasm from each member of staff . They made a real effort to note the booking was for a birthday and paid extra attention by also placing a birthday card on the table for the birthday girl and brought out a cake we had supplied . We will definitely return. These types of pubs/restaurants deserve loyalty and success.More infoThe Sword Inn HandPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Buntingford•4.8

My husband had the Shoulder of Lamb, his favourite, an I the vegetarian minced “ Lamb” on flatbread and what an exquisite experience that was. The service was excellent, the atmosphere quiet and the general ambience definitely conducive to a feeling of well-being.More infoLussmanns - HarpendenPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Harpenden•4.7
- KKimHertfordshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoA lovely afternoon tea, traditionally served. Amazing value - 4 types of finger sandwiches - twice as many as we were expecting, 2 glasses of Prosecco, refills in out tea pots. Lovely waiting staff, quiet, friendly, attentive but not in the way. We weren't hurried at all and were even given a tour round when we expressed an interest. A lovely setting. we are already talking about our return and who we will bring with us. Also liked the parking - not lots of parking, but sufficient - with marked spaces for larger cars.More infoCarriagesPrice: Expensive• Italian• Luton•4.8
