Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. Service is very good - friendly helpful staff . We had the festive lunch menu which was excellent! The presentation and quality of food is outstanding as well as all the little extras to try. Great choice on the wine menu too ranging from a glass to a bottle! Would highly recommend!

Very welcoming, good menu, great service and the food was delicious. Enclosed terrace in elevated position overlooking the Thames with good options of tapas. Really enjoyed so will return.

Following a discussion with the waiter we shared two starters- the beetroot and the vegetable fritters which worked very well together. The tandoori prawn dish as a main course was excellent and the desert of pistachio and mango ice cream rounded off a perfect meal. Service was excellent and staff friendly and welcoming.
