Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Burbank

The Castaway - Burbank is a wonderful restaurant. The food and drink options are delicious. The only issue I have is the choice of music and how loud it’s played. The style of music played I think is more club-ie than for a really great restaurant that has is on the higher price end. I’m not saying the music should be orchestral and old, just not that club never ending loud beat music. Plus it was so loud on the patio. It didn’t match the restaurant at all.

This is the first time dining at Bacari GDL. We were a party of 2 sitting in the outdoor area on Brand. We thoroughly enjoyed all the “bites” we ordered: stuffed mushrooms, scallops, shawarma tacos, mushroom pizza,chicken sliders, and chocolate dessert. All were tasty and perfect for sharing. What to know: plan on ordering several dishes (appetizer size) and the food comes out as it is made, so don’t expect everything at once. There are heaters, but bring a jacket. It is still chilly on the patio. There are several staff members helping out, so make sure you get your orders if you are waiting too long. There was a mix up with our dessert. I think one waiter thought the other put in the dessert. The indoor area is small and we preferred to be outside and people watch. One thing that bugged us was that we wanted to sit closer to a heater and we were denied because it was a four-top and not allowed for a party of two AND it was being held for “reservations “. I stated that we had a reservation, but still denied. Five minutes later, they sat a party of 2. When we mentioned it to the host and said, hey, what’s up with the party of 2? The host stated that he follows the rules 🫤. Not cool, but we got over it. Overall it was an excellent experience with the food and staff . We will definitely come back to try the lettuce wraps and other items on the menu.

I was there on Friday night for a birthday dinner of 14 people, unknowingly the same restaurant I made reservations for a Saturday brunch. The food and service were excellent Friday night. Came back Saturday for a birthday brunch of five people. Sonia, our server, was amazing, and Kyle, the manager, was very accommodating! Great restaurant, atmosphere, service, and food! 👍🏽

The Tam is always such a wonderful place to go during the holidays. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is so festive. My good friend and I have been coming for years and mainly for the Dickens carolers and this year did not disappoint! There were three groups performing around the restaurant and we were delighted to have at least a half dozen table-side performances. The service was good considering how busy it was and we both had the filet mignon, which was quite tender and flavorful. My friend’s was a bit undercooked, but our server took care of it and quickly returned it hot and cooked to her liking. If you’re looking for a place with good food and service and a joyous holiday spirit and beautifully sung Christmas carols, definitely check out the Tam.

Who could ask for a better Christmas gift than to share Christmas Eve dinner with your family at Ca Del Solé? With their choices of special dishes, an extremely attentive waitstaff and a very good wine list, it’s no wonder that Ca Del Solé was so many diner’s favorite choice for a marvelous Christmas Eve dinner!
