Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Portland

We are here visiting the area and Varanese was recommended to us! It was DELICIOUS ! We had the best service too! They were very busy however though it seemed that everyone was working and helping one another out! We will definitely be back!

Incredible experience! There were 3 of us for Dinner for my son's birthday. Started at the Bar and Shawn mixed magical brown butter old fashions. The deviled eggs and crab toast appetizers were awesome - they even made a slight change in the crab toast because I have a Salmon allergy. The kids had Caesar salads and I had the biggest wedge salad I have ever seen in my whole life! It was absolutely spectacular. Main dishes we ate: I had the ribeye and fingerling potatoes, amazing! My son had the Filet Oscar with asparagus and said it was fantastic. My daughter had the braised short ribs with celery, carrots and potatoes and loved it. For dessert we had the cherry bread pudding - which was outstanding!

This was our first time and we’ll definitely be going back!! The service was top notch, the drinks are out of this world and the food was incredible!! Everything for food and drinks were delightfully displayed and used fresh ingredients

We absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was charming, and our waiter, Parker, was not only sweet but also incredibly knowledgeable. We started with Old Fashioneds featuring Habanero Bitters—a creative and delightful twist on a classic cocktail. For appetizers, the Crawfish Bayou Dip was absolutely delicious. The seasonal salad was light, crisp, and the perfect prelude to our entrees. From the Bayou menu, we tried the Jambalaya and the Etouffée, both of which were bursting with flavor and exceeded our expectations. Everything was impeccable, and we can’t wait to return the next time we’re in Louisville!
