Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Cochrane

We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Keg, and it was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant has such romantic vibes, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. We ordered steak with lobster, and my husband had steak—both were cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. A big thank you to our server, Kevin, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. His excellent service made our evening even more special. To make our celebration even sweeter, The Keg surprised us with a complimentary dessert to mark our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it. Thank you, The Keg, for the amazing food, romantic ambiance, and top-notch service. We will definitely be returning!

Kitchen came to play tonight. Put it in the work and it was reflected in their overall performance tn. 3 stars of the game: 1st star: Lasagna found a way to battle through adversity and put there team in front. Risotto delivered on all accounts, real team player 2nd star: Beverages were moving there feet all night long and really got into their opponents heads. 3rd star: Service battled hard in the corners and ultimately put the group on top this evening.

As per usual, a lovely dinner at River Cafe. Hadn’t been for a while, so brought our guests to enjoy with us. Round of cocktails were great - unique and tasty. Beet and pea agnolotti appies were delicious. Our friends have a garlic sensitivity and the kitchen was amazing about it and made them a special fish dish without garlic. Much appreciated. The artic char and tenderloin entrees were cooked to perfection and very delicious. Our server was great - helpful and attentive. Freezing cold walk over made it that much more cozy inside. Still always cringe at the bill ($420 for 4) but worth it as a treat.

We had a great Valentine’s weekend brunch at The Deane House! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our server, Evandro, was awesome—super friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The warm and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. A spot we’d come back to!

Firstly, our compliments to the chef. I feel this person tries harder than most, and the palate is rewarded for that effort. Not fond of dining in Calgary usually but Lake House is a special exception. Cuisine and overall experience, ambience, our server, welcoming hosts make this a place we want to come back to.
