Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Port Carling

I don't remember the last time we dined at State and Main. All I can say is that it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in such a long time. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and the value incredible, but the staff were just phenomenal. I wish I knew the name of the lady that took care of our table. She was truly the sweetest girl ever! If the restaurant reads this review and can provide her name, please tell her we said Thank you, it would mean so much to us. She made the experience that much better than it already was. Thank you State and Main for such an amazing family day out!!!

Crossroads is our favourite restaurant. It never disappoints. I have enjoyed so many different dishes over the years. Last night’s Seafood Newburgh with lobster and veal medallions, was no exception. They dishes offered are unique, exquisitely displayed and the taste and quality of food is excellent. Thank you so much to the Lalonde family; Julie & Richard, Emma, Gabby & Tristan. They have created a wonderful business and destination spot for our area of Muskoka Parry Sound. The outdoor evening lights Create a wonderful ambience. Enjoy the winter wonderland as you relax in a Muskoka chair around the fire pit. It is everything you could want all seasons, for a special night out, family event or just a wonderful meal. I decided to bring my girlfriend to dinner here on Valentine’s Day and honestly I could not recommend this restaurant more, the food arrived within 10 minutes after ordering and was spectacular, well worth the price. If you are considering giving it a try let this review be the deciding factor, the service was outstanding, waiters were great and very polite. 10/10 experience.

We had a great evening. Our table was ready when we got there. Our server Diana was great and attentive. We ordered from the Valentines menu for 2. The surf and turf was done perfectly and we both enjoyed it. Not once did we feel rushed or neglected at our table. Overall this is a great restaurant and the whole experience was perfect.

We’re visiting for the season and feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced their last lounge of 2024 before fall settles in. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff is exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to recommend this hidden gem to friends visiting Muskoka.
