Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in River North (Chicago)

Sometimes I drive 1 hr from home to Nonnina’s and head right home because it’s my favorite place! The staff is so charming, the ambiance is perfect, and the food speaks for itself!! Will definitely be back ASAP ❤️‍🔥

Greeted at the door, coat and scarf taken, promptly taken to my Table. Greeted by several Servers and staff. Excellent selection of Wine. Sparkling water cool and crisp. Irish Stew was delicious, Crab Cake was outstanding. Filet and Lobster done to Perfection. Carrot cake and coconut ice cream was a great combination with the 20-year tawny port to finish. Valet was very prompt and service with a smile.

Excellent food and welcoming atmosphere as usual. Our server Clif was awesome - very friendly and really went the extra mile to ensure our evening was as good as it possibly could be.

it is loud and dark so may be hard for folks with limited vision or challenges hearing. The food was AMAZING . Everything was delicious--highly recommend the fries and the prosciutto app--the drinks were tasty --passion fruit cocktail an white wine. The staff was attentive but did not rush or hover. They were kind and accommodating. We were, however, seated at one of the tables nearest the host stand and it was COLD. Very blustery every time someone came in. We do want to come back in better weather and maybe even sit outside.

Excellent spot for a business lunch, great food and service.
