Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Oakville

Escargot, French onion soup, goat cheese tart, steak frites, mussels, …. What’s not to love? A touch of Paris In the Central West End.

Stack salad sounded good and tasted even better. Soup of the day, cream of spinach with chicken, was excellent. Wife and I both had the veal saltimboca, which was delicious. Nice touch offering the pasta side aglio/olio as an option to standard marinara, although it could have used more garlic. Sizable wine list with numerous good choices. Service was first rated.

My heart is gonna break when I have to leave St Louis. They’ve absolutely ruined all other Italian restaurants for me. I figure they must be Catholics! I feel like it’s heaven, but I also need to go to confession. The guilt is real! 😂😂😂 P.s. They ship the sauce!!!

We had another wonderful dinner at Twisted Tree (no surprise here - that’s why we keep coming back!). The Twisted Shrimp and the Pear Tree Onion Rings were a great star and the salad is always delicious. Our entres were so good, (Salmon, Halibut, Beef Medallions, but the KC Strip Dry Aged was phenomenal. DO NOT miss a piece of the Wedding Cake for dessert, just one piece was more than enough for the 4 of us. So much fun, a memorable evening.

Anya was super friendly and attentive, our salads were presented before the warm Quark bruschetta app (killer balanced dish, so good if you’re a smoky bacon and creamy cheese fan) that we were sharing, and she was apologetic given I said we’d start with this dish. Standard size salads - arugula & goat cheese delicious - were more than substantial for a lunch portion - 3 or 4 people could even share it as a lighter app. Excellent value.
