super friendly service, great tasting food that doesnt hurt the wallet. worth every penny in my opinion and my partner and i enjoyed every moment of being here, would definitely recommned to anyone. cocktails were amazing to add to this!

We had a great table for 2 at the front edge, with a clear view of the opera house and the people strolling the waterfront. The linguine with seafood was delicious, as was the burrata and the Italian beer. Tiramasu was tasty, but we wished we had shared because the portion was huge! On Christmas Eve, it was very busy, so service was a bit off, but all the servers were so pleasant that I can’t fault them.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at the Royal Cricketers Arms numerous times, and the YFD (Your Funeral Director) Christmas Gathering was no exception to its charm. The historic venue always provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the festive touches added an extra special vibe to the event. However, during the Christmas season, it would be great to see table service offered, especially for group gatherings, as it enhances the experience and makes it feel more seamless. Additionally, expanding the menu to include more vegetarian and pescatarian options would be a thoughtful touch, accommodating a wider range of dietary preferences. On a brighter note, the fantastic news that cash payments are once again accepted was much appreciated!
