Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Hudson Heights

The best burger I’ve had in a long time. The service was wonderful. Quick and also attentive. I also had a great cocktail. I highly recommend Joe Allen if you are looking for a theatre district restaurant.

our waitress sang beautifully and delivered us delicious meals. it was very crowded, and we were rushed out. they did warn us (after we had reserved and only on the day of our reservation) that we had one hour to eat. a warning at the time of reservation would have been appreciated, because, with such a late advisement, we had to stand outside in the cold before our curtain.

This place is one of my favorites before a show. Consistently delicious and so well prepared. Staff are always attentive and helpful. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a relaxed polished vibe that begs me to stay, relax, and have that extra glass of wine. Do not skip on dessert and coffee.

I couldnt have picked a better place to enjoy my first dinner of 2025. For starters, the restaurant is visually beautiful and they perfectly curated the music to create a relaxing ambience. It is clear that management has a particular attention to detail and it is something I greatly appreciate in any dining experience. I was seated upstairs near the balcony overlooking the downstairs dining area. It felt intimate but still lively. My server was Alecta and she was absolutely incredible. She made solid recommendations and checked in regularly to ensure I was enjoying my dining experience. The food was a 10/10 and came out quickly. I ordered the lobster bisque and the 12oz Australian ribeye. At no point did I have to ask for anything because the staff was so attentive. I will absolutely be returning and I 100% recommend to anyone.

Exceptional wait staff, very obliging in assisting us in choosing a wine. Guests all loved their food. Spouse felt the salmon was the best ever. I had a gluten-free pasta dish and was disappointed. Would go back.
