- LLilaWest Virginia •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMy family and I decided to dine here after completing our Black Friday shopping. We hadn’t made it to Bravo for a meal since pre covid and were excited to be going back. When I went to make the reservation on open table, we decided to split our group of 11 up into 6 and 5 as if we made one reservation, we wouldn’t be able to eat at our desired time. I made a note on both reservations that we were together but it was not necessary to feel that they must seat us together. When I arrived, I was met with a surprise. Bravo placed us into one of their more private areas for larger parties and accommodated all 11 of us at one table despite me stating that it did not matter if we got to sit together. Very impressive how important their customers are that they went a little out of their way to allow our group to sit together! Our server, while I forget her name, was very attentive and personal. An absolute gem. She always checked on us and made sure our drinks were always filled. Very professional. The food was spectacular and I ordered the lasagna which I absolutely recommend for anyone new to Bravo or that is not sure what they want to order. Overall, this was well worth the trip and I wish we would have come back to Bravo sooner. Do not pass up this great restaurant when wondering where to catch your next meal at!More infoBravo Italian Kitchen - Pittsburgh - GalleriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Mt. Lebanon•4.3
- AAnnevipPittsburgh •44 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe opted for the calamari before delving into a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. The calamari was absolutely perfect. I think I shall always get this dish at Capital Grille! Thanksgiving Dinner was good as these things go. My husband thought it was excellent. Turkey and gravy were excellent, as was cranberry chutney, we both agreed on that. We disagreed on stuffing. It was wet, and I like mine more crunchy, so that was just a matter of preference. But I wish they had had a bit of both! Green beans with almonds were always good; I did not try the mashed potatoes yet - I won’t try them until the leftovers we have tonight or tomorrow. As to the sweet potatoes we ordered, I was really looking forward to them, and I was really disappointed. Their consistency was like mushy baby food - worse than applesauce - that I can’t imagine even a baby would even eat them because they were so horribly sweet. Really, they made the hair on the back of my neck stand up on end. I only tried two fork fulls (the second one was just to confirm that what I first tasted was in fact as bad as I had thought - sorry Capital Grille, but this one was a definite loser). We did not take any home. My husband talked me out of telling the waiter how bad I thought they were… I’m not sure why. If the chef thought they were good enough to send out, I don’t know what he was thinking… My husband had cheesecake for dessert. I snacked on its decorative berries. Dessert of course got an A+. So all in all, except for the sweet potato mash up, another excellent meal at Capital Grille. They told us they expected to sell 1100 turkey dinners before the day was through. That’s a LOT of turkey!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE SERVERS AND COOKS AND CHEFS AND STAFF THAT MADE TODAY POSSIBLE!!! We totally appreciate your efforts and your sacrifices by being at work today!More infoThe Capital Grille - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9

From the server to the food presentation, we were very impressed. We also thought the menu was fairly priced for the service and food provided. We highly recommend this restaurant as one of Pittsburgh’s best. Cheers!More infoFig & AshPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Northside•4.8

- LLezziePittsburgh •2 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Nov 2024Had an excellent dinner here while in town for a conference as this was located in our hotel. Menu was diverse but also had some staple items which is nice when travelling. I enjoyed the Lumpia appetizer and the Egyptian entree, both very tasting and well presented. The cocktails were well crafted and the server friendly and personable. Thank you for a nice dinner!More infoChristian James at The Joinery, Curio Hotel by HiltonPrice: Moderate• International• Downtown•4
