Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Redmond

We visited JOEY on Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. The hostess was friendly and helped us quickly. We were offered bubbly immediately upon arrival. Our waitress, Shayla, offered excellent explanations of some of the food options and provided some recommendations, but it was more than just a simple opinion. She would provide reasons for her recommendations which was helpful for us to decide if we felt the same way she did about a specific food item. The service was quick but we didn't feel rushed. Everyone seemed to be helping fill waters and we always had full glasses. The manager came by the table to check on us and wish us a good night. Overall it was a 10/10 experience.

We showed up 45 minutes early by accident for a party of 4 dinner on Valentine's evening, and they were able to seat us right away anyway, which was amazing! We loved our waitress Coka, who was wonderful and very attentive! The restaurant was beautiful with pink napkins and white tablecloths and a lovely fireplace. The place was full of laughter and love. The food was beautifully presented and yummy. Cocktails, too! The service staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had plates cleared in time between courses. There was no rush for us to eat and leave. We'll be back and can't wait to enjoy it in the summer as well!

The food was delicious but most of all, our hostess Pamela was great! Being from Florence, Italy, she really made us feel like we were actually there. She was quite energetic, very pleasant and made sure we were happy with our food. Great experience!!

I have not been since they remodeled. It looks nice inside. Our server was great. I was a little taken back by all the families with kids and how horrible and loud the children were. It takes away from the meal and conversation when all you hear is tantrums and bratty kids. Since the place is an open concept it gets really loud with that. But that doesn't have anything to do with the way the restaurant is run, its just something to consider if you want to go and have a business meeting or conversation with friends.

This is a really fun place to come with family. We had between ages 10 in grandkids to oldest grandson in his 30s plus parents and grandma. Everyone has their favorites at BJs and of course a couple of the kids come just for pizzokies.
