Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Fair Lawn

Sat at a table in the bar area and I highly recommend it. We typically sit in the main dining room and for our party of 3 it was perfect. Steak au poivre was cooked to a perfect medium and the sauce had great flavor and nice peppercorns to give it that zing. Served Nasir made the night w caring service

We had a lovely dinner as always at Oceanos. Greeted warmly and seated in a cozy booth we immediately relaxed in the warmth and lively lie music and lighting. Our server was very attentive and brought us water, beautiful house baked warm bread and oil in short order. Special cocktails were followed by coconut shrimp appetizer. I loved my delicious miso glazed salmon and my hubs had a tasty halibut special over sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Delectable. My chocolate martini chaser accompanied these tasty Greek butter cookies. Was glad we had a few to take home for coffee the next morning. Such a perfect evening out! Thank you!

This place is a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal or a special occasion. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the staff. This is our favorite spot in Ridgewood and never disappoints. Great food and drinks, very cool ambiance, especially the bar but no bad seats in the house. The fish dishes are always delicious and have inventive preparations and the chicken parm and pasta are delectable. J had the fish special herb-crusted cod and it was really good. The farm salad and calamari were a terrific start. Our server, Sam, was excellent, and hosts are always attentive.

Great food and service. Bar area is a little more lively and better-lit than the dining room.
