Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Grandview

The best Christmas pop up we have been to! The service was amazing and the decorations were well thought out. All the tables were full but it’s not so loud you can’t talk or move around. We will do this again.

Excellent dinner with excellent service. Took friends who had never dined here as a Christmas gift and they were most impressed and loved the entire evening. Our server made our dinner even more enjoyable.

We had not been to J. Gilbert's for a number of years. We found we had been missing one of KC's most wonderful dining experiences. The meal was outstanding and delicious with excellent steaks cooked strictly to order. J. Gilbert's has a large wine list which features varieties of all types at many price levels. Service was very, very good and great service is hard to find these days. The physical beauty, warmth and vibe are welcoming and charming. The place reminded me of how steakhouses used to be and how they should be now for today's guests.

Our family enjoyed a very good lunch to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday. Food was really good and our request for a booth was honored. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great day at a great restaurant!🎄👍
