A locally owned Madison favorite, Otto's is set in a beautifully restored 1870s stone farm house with two dining levels.     The food was excellent. This is a really nice place with a supper club feel. It’s very clean. We were seated close to a huge bank of windows that looked out over the water (ice) and it was snowing… it was very pretty! We couldn’t have asked for a better server! I don’t recall his name unfortunately. But he was funny, polite and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and our food was served with just enough time between courses. They had a special menu for Valentines Day. Dinner came with a salad which we both enjoyed. All of the ingredients were really fresh. I ordered the clam chowder as well and it was very tasty. For entree’s - hubby had the salmon and said it was delicious! I ordered the Mariner’s Shrimp and neither of us have ever seen such large shrimp…and the batter was so light and tasty. It was a little if the expensive side but we enjoyed it. We will definitely be making reservations here again. Thank you to The Mariner’s Inn and our server for the wonderful Valentines dinner!

    Love this unique place! Staff are consistently smart, personable and efficient. Food is also consistently good. Cannot go wrong ordering the chicken parmesan. It’s one of the best we’ve ever found. Curried mussels are a favorite starter. Savory and tasty. A real hit!
