Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. The Old Surrey Restaurant is Surrey’s best well- kept secret. Built in 1918, it was the residence of Lou Jack and his household until it was converted into a restaurant in 1974.The interior has a crisp, clean aesthetic that is enhanced by hardwood floors and the enlarged photos of historic Surrey that adorn the walls. There are five distinct dining areas on the top floor (including a cozy library) and a banquet facility downstairs. The cuisine is French with a splash of West Coast flare.     The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our group. The food was great, everything was good. They make their own hamburger which is not common and gives the burgers added flavour. I am not sure $30 Burger is value but its was enjoyable and I would go again!

    We were seated by a fire place on a really busy Friday night, so it was way too hot. Our waiter was great and food was good. My husband didn't like the prime rib as much this time . The steak Oscar was really good as usual!

    We had such an amazing experience at Tap and Barrel South Surrey location! The food was absolutely delicious—way better than we expected—and the service was top-notch. Our waiter really went out of his way to make sure we were happy, and it made the whole night extra special. Everything from the atmosphere to the attention to detail was spot on. We’re so grateful for such a great night out. Highly recommend this place!

    Everything on the menu is amazing I had steak crab and lobster wife had miso crusted halibut also amazing. And our server Tamara was really good aswell. It was our anniversary and she took care of us. We had mentioned we were from put of town and shared some stories. Highly recommended and will go back
